Princeton University

  • 20% of Princeton’s student body are athletes. Princeton is a member of the Ivy League and participates in NCAA Division 1 athletics.

  • Princeton is ranked #1 University in the country

  • It has the largest endowment per student in the United States

  • To graduate from Princeton University, students must complete four semesters of undergraduate research, which culminates in a senior thesis  

  • Women were first allowed to matriculate in 1969

  • There are approximately 5,000 undergraduates and approximately 2,600 graduate students

  • Notable Alumni: Michelle Obama, Woodrow Wilson, Ted Cruz, John Nash, Brooke Shields.

  • The First Campus Center is shown in the opening credits of the show “House”; however, there is no medical school on the Princeton campus.

  • As an upperclassmen, there are many different dining options, including joining an eating club (basically like a co-ed frat where students eat and socialize). There are currently 11 clubs that are located on Prospect Avenue, or “The Street”
