Fellow Profile: Hannah Starke, JIF '14

Hannah Starke is a Summer Scholar alumna from St. Joseph, Michigan. In the summer of 2014, she studied Art History and Political Journalism at Barnard College. As a first generation college student, the immersion into academic life was invaluable, but most of all, the opportunity to live and study in New York City helped Hannah to realize that she not only can survive city life, but that she actually thrives in the city. Currently, Hannah is studying Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University and plans to minor in both Film and Producing though NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Outside of the classroom, Hannah also writes for HerCampus NYU and has served as a New York Fashion Week contributor for the Washington Square News. She hopes to work in either television or fashion after graduation.
