University of Pennsylvania

  • Founded in 1740 by Benjamin Franklin and George Whitefield, University of Pennsylvania is a private research university located in Philadelphia.

  • Penn is home to several dual degree programs such as the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business, VIPER, and the Vagelos Program in Life sciences and Management.

  • Penn has approximately 10,000 undergraduate students and has consistently been ranked among the top ten schools in the United States.

  • University of Pennsylvania has a wide variety of alumni. Donald Trump, Warren Buffet, John Legend, and Elizabeth Banks are just a few of the many notable people who have attended

  • There are nearly 300 different academic degrees and programs to choose from.

  • Penn has many different social, political, artistic, and multicultural organizations to take part in.

  • Penn has Academically Based Community Service classes (or ABCs) that allow you to mix classroom learning and research with community service in the greater Philadelphia community.
