Live Out Loud, an organization created
to provide LGBTQ youth with the support they need is offering three
$10,000 scholarship awards for those who are eligible.
Guidelines/Procedures
●
You must be an LGBTQ youth pursuing a
college degree.
●
You must be from the tri-state area
(New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey).
●
Applicants must send the completed
application form; two letters of recommendation; and two essays of a specified
topic.
●
Finalists will be interviewed in March
2018.
●
Award criteria are based on the
demonstration of past leadership and community service involvement, academic
credentials, personal essay, letters of recommendation, an individual
interview, financial need, and future goals.
●
Scholarships will be awarded at a ceremony
in June.
Applications are due
on March 1st, 2018.
