Juniors, as you think about making visits to college campuses this fall, consider applying to one of the many funded campus visitation programs run by colleges and universities. These visitation programs typically include a chance to stay on campus with current undergraduates, attend classes, experience student life, and gain valuable insight into the application and financial aid process.
Funding to cover your transportation and stay on campus is provided – it is a selective application process to be included! Deadlines typically fall in the late summer and early fall months, and the programs themselves take place summer through fall. (Don't forget, students who are admitted to the first year class will also have a chance to visit – for the first time or for a re-visit – in April after admissions decisions are released and before you make your final decision by May 1.)
