Launching a Leader


May 9-10
Ann Arbor, Michigan

This May, the third annual Joyce Ivy College Admissions Symposium (JCAS) will be offered by the Joyce Ivy Foundation at the Washtenaw Intermediate School District Teaching and Learning Center. JCAS is a unique two-day program that brings together:

  • Talented young women from Midwest high schools
  • Admissions officers returning from highly selective colleges and universities, including: Dartmouth, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Penn, Princeton, Stanford, Wellesley and Yale
  • Financial aid officers from Kalamazoo College
  • High school counselors, educators and community-based organization leaders
  • Alumni of highly selective colleges and universities, including: Brown, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton and Stanford
  • Joyce Ivy Foundation volunteers
