  • Founded in 1836, Emory University is located in Atlanta, Georgia

  • There are approximately 7,000 undergrads and 7,000 graduate students at the university

  • The school participates in NCAA Division III athletics and is a member of the University Athletic Association

  • Every Wednesday at Emory is a Wonderful Wednesday! Every Wednesday there are fun activities on campus, including petting zoos, bouncy houses, and other fun things.

  • Emory Public Health students have the opportunity to work closely with the Center for Disease Control, which is also located in Atlanta

  • Go Eagles! The mascot at Emory is the eagles and their official colors are blue and gold

  • The school’s newspaper is called The Emory Wheel and it is published twice weekly

  • Notable Alumni include Jimmy Carter, Desmond Tutu, Sanjay Gupta
