Sports: The “Yale Bulldogs” have NCAA Division 1 status and sponsors 35 varsity sports.   
Campus Housing/Greek Life: Freshman are required to live on campus. and 88% of all undergraduate students do so as well. After freshman year, undergraduates can move into one of the “residential colleges,” a closer community that provides not only housing, but dining, intramural sports, and social events. About 13% of students join one of the 9 fraternities and 7 sororities.
Popular Clubs & Activities: Yale has four cultural houses: the Afro-American Cultural Center, the Asian American Cultural Center, the Latino Cultural Center, the Native American Cultural Center. The Yale Political Union, the Yale Daily News, and the Yale International Relations Association are the most popular groups, but there are around 500 other extracurricular activities to choose from.
