There's no avoiding it - to this day, sororities often have an unfavorable stigma or stereotype associated with them. But as the times have changed, so have sororities: in her recent article in the New York Times, Jessica Bennett talks about how sororities have seen a huge increase in the number of feminists who want to pledge. It seems that these girls want to change the image of the typical elitist, exclusionary sorority from within the system.
