Scholarship Saturday: The Beinecke Scholarship

This particular scholarship is available to college juniors who plan to puruse graduate studies in the arts and humanities. 

Each recipient receives $4,000 prior to attending graduate school, and then an additional $30,000 while in grad school! Although the cost does vary from university to university and program to program, the averag cost of attending grad school is around $30,000-$40,000, so this scholarship reallly does make a large dent in your tuition. 

There are no georgraphic limits on the scholarship, so once you get it you can go anywhere to pursue your graduate studies! To learn more, click here.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you have to be nominated by your college or university, so you can talk to your liason to secure that nomination. Some affiliated colleges are: University of Iowa, Princeton University, University of Minnesota, UNCLA, Williams College, Michigan State University, Case Western Reserve University, University of Michigan, Brown University, Stanford University, University of Illinois, and Swarthmore College.
