Symposium Sunday: Sessions at JCAS

Hello Joyce Ivy Blog Readers!

JCAS is ONLY two weeks away! I’ve already posted the schedules for both days of JCAS, but I wanted to give you a bit more information about two sessions that are not to be missed:

Institution Spotlights with Admissions Representatives: Ever wonder what highly selective institutions share in common? Or how do you differentiate the experience at a large school versus a small school, a rural school versus an urban school? How do you sift through all the great college options to find a good match and fit? This unique opportunity will allow you to hear from admissions representatives at twelve of the country’s most selective institutions to hear what they think makes their schools different from one another. There will be time to get all your questions answered from the source itself!

The Essence of the Real You: Showcasing “Self” and Finding Your Authentic Voice in the Application Process: The application process to college is a daunting process! How do you capture who you are in only a couple pages? How much of your personality can you inject into the application process? This session will answer these questions and more as you get tips from admissions representatives on what they think makes a great application.

We will also be featuring guest speaker, Mallory White, from Ann Arbor Google to speak out her experience as a women in STEM!

See you in two weeks!
Brittany
