Institutional Spotlight: Institutions featured at JCAS

Welcome back, Joyce Ivy blog readers!

In just under three months, the Joyce Ivy Foundation will be hosting its sixth annual Joyce Ivy College Admissions Symposium (JCAS) at Washtenaw Community College on May 5th and 6th. This great event brings together high-achieving female high school juniors and their families, high school counselors, community-based organization leaders, and admissions officers and alumni from highly selective colleges and universities for a two-day, interactive college access and admissions event. Those of us on the planning committee are getting excited, and we hope you are too!

We are thrilled with the number of colleges and universities that have already signed on to present at JCAS. Each Tuesday from now until the conference in May, we will be highlighting one college or university that will be at the event. This will give you a sneak peek into what makes each institution unique and if that school might be a good fit for you. We will also direct you to additional resources where you can learn more information. We encourage you to use these posts as a base for creating your own college list and for brainstorming questions you might have for the admissions representatives from these wonderful institutions when you meet them IN PERSON at JCAS!

Over the next three months, plan on stopping by the JIF Blog every Tuesday to learn about:

-Amherst College
-Barnard College
- Dartmouth College
-Duke University
- Harvard University
-Johns Hopkins University
-Princeton University
-Stanford University
-University of Pennsylvania
-Wellesley College
-Yale University

As additional colleges and universities join in on the JCAS fun, you will see this list grow.

We would like to note that these Tuesday posts will be replacing the current College Spotlights until JCAS is over. As some colleges repeat, look at this as an opportunity to learn even more about that institution!

For more information, visit the JCAS section of the Joyce Ivy site.

Cheers,
Nicole
