A few weeks back, we posted a draft of Saturday’s JCAS schedule.
Below is the final schedule for the junior and sophomore sessions—you’ll note
that the times and workshop names are the same as what we posted then. All sessions
will be co-led by a wide array of talented admissions officers, financial aid
professionals, and counselors who are excited to talk with you about your
college plans and share their own college knowledge! To see who is coming,

Below are the junior workshops, followed by the sophomore
sessions. If you haven’t yet registered, you can do so here.
Juniors
8:00-8:30 Registration
– come to check in, grab a cup of coffee and a nosh, and meet some
other JCAS
participants!
8:30-9:00 Welcome
9:00-9:50 Holistic,
Highly Selective Admissions & Financial Aid
10:00-11:00 Breakout
Session Block 1. Choose from:
- Reflecting

Yourself on Paper

11:00-11:50 Lunch!
Parents will have a parent panel, while students will enjoy a Fellow-led
discussion.
12:00-1:00 Breakout
Session Block 2. All workshops from Session Block 1 will be repeated.
1:15-2:00 Institution
Spotlights – a large-group session in which you’ll hear about each
college or
university from admissions officers.
2:15-2:45 Launch
Plan – a time to meet in small groups with admissions officers,
ask them questions,
and start/continue your college timeline plan.
